The One Clothing Piece I Always Pack On Trips
As I was looking through my travel photos on my phone from the past few years, I realized that there was one key piece that always seemed to be included in my travel wardrobe. I wore this item dressed up with blazers + heels and dressed down with denim jackets + sneakers. I also paired this item with a variety of belts. On particularly warm days, I wore this piece on its own with a statement necklace. In colder climates I could layer a sweater over it.
So what is this clothing item??? It’s a black jumpsuit.
A black jumpsuits can be a basic yet timeless staple. And black jumpsuits are more importantly, versatile and season-less.
I also usually eliminate packing a pair of black pants if I bring my black jumpsuit on a trip. It’s nice to have at least one outfit that you don’t have to put extra thought into because it’s a one-piece.
I’ve worn this jumpsuit pictured above during trips over the last few years to Cape Town, Mexico City, and Marrakech. Here are a few similar jumpsuits options to the one I’m wearing below.
Vince Camuto Tie Front Wide Leg Jumpsuit | Vince Camuto Twist Front Plunge Jumpsuit | RACHEL by Rachel Roy Side Cut-Out Jumpsuit | French Connection Illusion Crew-Neck Jumpsuit | Ali and Jay Sleeveless Slim Leg Asymmetrical Jumpsuit
